After suffering with poor mental health Andy looked for an outlet to calm his mind. He went into his garage and started to put together pieces of rubbish and so The Berts were born! Andy often describes making the Berts as his "meditation for engineers," a soothing rhythm of creativity that calms his mind and soothes his soul. In the birth of an idea (that often changes!) the gentle clink of metal and the careful shaping of each piece, he finds a sense of purpose and tranquillity that he couldn't find anywhere else. It's a reminder that sometimes, the best therapy isn't found in words or meditation apps, but in the act of creating something tangible with your own two hands. Mental Health Matters. At We Are Bert Ltd., your satisfaction is our top priority. In fact we're more committed to making you smile than a stand-up comedian with a banana peel! We pack your goodies with the tender love and care of a cat hugging a fluffy pillow, using recycled materials whenever possible because Mother Earth deserves a helping hand too. For greeting cards, we rely on the trusty 2nd class Royal Mail, but for sculptures and limited-edition prints, we go all secret-agent with recorded delivery.

And if you happen to live within 20 miles of us, we will bring your sculpture to your door personally – we'll even do a happy dance!
